Hard to believe the nanobots got stolen right under the watchful gaze of Cyclops.

Vanderbeam did it. (Now watch as Kris hastily rewrites the story so Vanderbeam didn't do it.)

Nah. This is a case of quis custodies ipsos custodes. A2Z has taken the nanites to build himself a body.

I think you are the only one with the cameras in his new residence. Most just have his webcam piggy-backed.

Next week's strip is like, "oh here's the nanites, they just fell behind the holder in the safe. There was no crime! And look, they're spelling out a message!!"

<Wry chuckle, wipe away tear> ". . . . attract."

Continuing on, my dear Meridian might just star in a seething female prison sub-arc, by seething I mean involving logic schematics, and by prison I mean the time-out room.

Still it is a clever way to keep Cutter's tech-asset out of the public eye while he fist-bashes a solution.

It'll turn out that Holiday didn't steal the nanites, the nanites stole Holiday. Cutter will put a sun-monocle in his good eye as he says, "looks like a case of Grand Theft Astrophysicist." And the Who will scream at the Paradigm.

Of course, this is a joke. Kris would write a much more clever Horatioism.

What's going on with the computer in panels two and three?

Anybody else notice how much that guard looks like the one guy from "F-sharp"?

This makes me wonder if F Chords will ever continue, or if Ash & Wade have been transplanted into the Starslip universe as bit characters.
