Holy, crap. Did not see that coming Kris, consider my mind suitably blown enough that I had to register an account just so I could post how blown away I am.

Shunt to the universe the Fuseli escaped to? and he saves his son, with the Jinxlets... this should be fun

I could have sworn the Chronomantic implied that he boned Jovia, which is COMPLETELY NOT OKAY NOW.

I actually suspected this for a while (no really), so I always saw that as a "I'll say hi to mom", not a boning thing.

Also: WOOOOOOO

TWISTS!!!

That the Chronomantic was Vanderbeam's offspring was a popular forum-theory back in the day. That or that the Chronommantic was Vanderbeam. I never once believed either theory.

Which makes me wrong.

I believe my flabber has been gasted in hitherto unknown ways. And on a Monday even.

I remembered that one.

"I'll give your regards to Jovia when I next see her."

I think that saying "Mom" probably would have given away a little more than was necessary at the time.

I remember a few years back, Straub said that the various threads would come together to form a mane. I think we've found the mane. I wonder how big the lion is.

Of course, on the other hand, just because he's vanderbeam's son doesn't mean jovia's his mother. What if things with \Holiday worked out? Am I the only one still rooting for her?

Welcome aboard.

And as to the others, let us watch as events unfold. There is still some hard living between Vanderbeam-now and Vanderbeam-elder. The implications of incest in that line might be a shade too tangled in the terminology.

Still, Happy Reveal!

At that point Vanderbeam would have had no idea also that he would father a son. Saying I will say hi to Mom would have been confusing and could have been misconstrued as saying "So long suckers, I am off to go bang your Mom!"

Who says that it's Jovia? For that matter, why is the only alternative Holiday? I know someone who he resembles much more, that matches his personality better, that 'Beams is much closer to.

Cutter is the mother. Or second father.

Well, that was entirely unexpected!

I join in the offering of prognostications, but I think I'd probably ruin it all for myself.

I'm assuming Jovia is the mother simply because of the Chronomantic's big poofy hair. Then again, that means Chex might also somehow be in the running for that position. Only time will tell.

I still think Chex = Chronomantic. Possibly Chrono goes back in time at one point to the late 1990s and gets mugged suffering a blow to the head and losing him his time suit.

This would explain the slight change in personality as well as the loss of any memory of what had happened to him previously.

It is just forehead growth.

Hail, Nateman.

Further, let us wait with anticipation as to the C-boy's parentage. There are multiple universes and 'Beams upon which to draw.
