That too.

Though ... I was gonna ask if the original art is available for this strip?

I did like the carelessness with which D'hawk(?) remembered human physiology.

Is that what Dahk was doing? I didn't get the punchline where he said "you don't have enough append-" . . . was he forgetting that humans have eyes?

Yeah . . . that hairy panel should be like a desktop-wallpaper . . . he could charge a dollar-a-download and rake in millions (of ten thousandths of pennies).

Only human males have enough appendages... though come to think of it, females may have one extra, but it's doubtful the arrangement is suitable for the technique.

Then he's still out of luck. These guys live in a cartoon universe where humans only have 4 fingers / toes.

I don't know that we've seen how many toes they have yet.

So today Kris said, "Why do command codes always have to be in Greek letters, why not another ancient language?"

Screw alpha-omega-delta, my command codes will all be in hieroglyphics from now on.

The purpose of command codes is to restrict access to critical systems. Consequently, any critical system is presumed to have command access codes. These challenge and response protocols are geared to restrict casual access, while allowing only the originator or its informed representatives access to the capabilities that the systems enable.

With the general improvement of Information Warfare, it is my belief that codes will be less and less symbolic/iconic sequences and be more of a challenge of the individual itself. A sufficient-intelligence construct questioning the requester with general discussion and evaluating the responses, after passive biometric routines have run.

Comlink: "Enter command code for temporal matrix access."
Deep Time Agent: Command: A#-rho-black-ibis-wintergreen-Catch 22
Comlink: "Confirmed, response and metrics match. Access Granted."

Comlink: "State Request"
Deep Time Agent: "Access Temporal Matrix command capabilities, require nullification of space-time for radius of one kilometer."
Comlink: "Where did you first learn of such capabilities, and who authorized your access to them. Also, what is your belief in the equality of temporal rights?"
Deep Time Agent: "We do not have time for this, the singularity's retarded-wave is expanding to near-critical!"
Comlink: "Noted, stop wasting time and answer the question."
Deep Time Agent: "I think it was in the basic RNA-transfer of my first clone, the idiot that assigned me onto this mission, and I believe . . . . . that I need to stop that retarded wave, rights can be sorted out later when we have the time to go back and fix it."
Comlink: "Noted, granted. Action executed."

That was just how little I comprehended the punchline.

I thought "oh wait, I forgot I can show you" meant something like "even though you're physiologically incapable of performing the maneuver, you can still see me perform it". It wasn't really funny that way but it was all I could figure.

Totally didn't get it. Now I do.

Before anyone asks, the punchline to this comic is his junk. Again. Kris loves making these jokes, huh?

If these badguys are like most men I know, they will not try to detain, nor most likely even look at, naked Quine.

Interestingly, nude males seem to present a lower threshold for escalation of violence in their apprehension on the part of the enforcement agents.
