Archive for March 2005 http://www.depthsofaddiction.com/ This was the thing I went to SF to shoot that one weekend, for them what aren't on noukon's LJ, the guy behind it. It's a documentary about the deadly grip of new and terrifying addictions that rot a person from the inside! The first episode should be up late tonight, I am told! http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/business/3101452 And apparently most DeLorean buyers are my age and saw Back To The Future when I did. Lame. I thought I was all cool and different. Look at the prices at http://www.canaca.com . I mean, look at that bandwidth. I have never found a better deal anywhere. It's like, hot damn. Nobody comes close! For less than $20 you get 600 GB per month. DreamHost, a very popular host, gives you 260 GB MAXIMUM. Man! Where did I find these guys? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4537712846&category=31830&sspagename=WDVW Here's another DeLorean for a mere $9,500! Man! Someday when I'm rich and retired and insane I'll buy one. By then, maybe they will have "brought it back" like they did the damn Beetle. http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Live+bookmark+failed+to+load%22+firefox Looks like "Live bookmark failed to load" is a somewhat common problem in Firefox 1.0. That's weird. But it makes sense why it was working at my parents' house where I was last working on it, because they have some sub-1.0 build. Blueshift died sometime today. The first entry in my blog with him in it was December 2001, and I know I got him as early as November. November 2001 to March 2005 is a long time. So goodbye, old man. ![]() I'm thinking about getting a rabbit, but I'll not sully the Blueshift Death Entry with news of a new pet. Aren't you glad I have the RSS feed set up for this stuff? (That needs to be fixed too for Firefox.) I really like this guy, but I don't know what to do with him. ![]() I added RSS feeds for Airsick Moth and Dreaming of 4000. If you're using Firefox, you can easily subscribe. If you're not using Firefox, you should be. Oh, but if you wanted to subscribe with IE, I don't know what you're supposed to do. Something having to do with a premature update and file locking. I went and blew up my blog install trying to add an RSS feed, which is ridiculous. I can fix it, but it's really tedious. I'll have to do it sometime this week. |
